Hansen Planetarium: SLC

We LOVED the planetarium a couple of weeks back. We went with Alissa and kids and had so much fun that we had to go back the next day to show Cory. All of the exhibits are free but we did pay to see a really cool movie in the dome theatre.
 my hand is electric!!!!
marvelling at the two story marble run thing.
Just carter exploring the surface of the moon. They had mars too :)
Fighting over who gets to turn the crank that controls some of where the balls go
trying stuff on in the gift shop.

We love the snow!!!!

There is something great about living where it snows quite a bit. At least when you're a kid. Harrison and Carter love putting on their snow pants and going outside to make tracks in the snow, drag each other around on the sled, and attempt snow angels.

(and who says you can't go get ice cream when it's cold outside???)

SOCCER!!!!

Harrison is four games in to playing soccer with 5 and 6 year olds with the city of South Jordan. It's inside and he's been loving it. So far this season we (the self-named 'fire breathing dragon wolves') have two ties, one win, and one loss.  Harrison has gotten at least one goal every time and looks forward to Saturday mornings A LOT. And I'm starting to get used to the completely unhealthy snacks they give kids here after a soccer game (hello, capri sun and twinkies...although last week at least was granola bars so there's hope yet!). I think we're signing up for spring too (It's like $30 here, it's hard for me to say no, especially when he's the only one big enough to do sports yet).

I totally need to bring my good camera next time. Oh well. It's soccer. on super fancy indoor grass.

34 weeks

I'm huge. I feel so much bigger this time around.  Can't wait to meet this little guy and not be miserable after sitting on the floor reading stories with Carter for 15 minutes :) We are in final getting ready mode for sure.  The baby's room is almost done. Newborn diapers have been added to my amazon order shipping out March 7th. And starting yesterday I've been doubling up on dinner cooking to put a second meal in the freezer (I'm using these recipes, all but the beef stew I've made before and they freeze well:

sausage and bean supper from here--I made many of these and while healthy we did not like to eat most of them.... so all of my veggie chopping felt a little pointless...

my kids are crazy....

I can't believe we're having another one in 5 short weeks (I'm counting to 39 weeks since I've been promised and am really hoping to be induced then).
