The wedding party
For our honeymoon we went on a cruise to San Diego, Catalina, and Ensenada. The boat was fantastic!!! The food was plentiful, there were cheesy vegas-ish shows that you just can't help but love, and they folded our towels into all kinds of fun animal shapes every morning!!! The ports of call we're good but for the next cruise, I'm definitely thinking somewhere a bit more exotic like Alaska or the Bahamas. My fave memories were snorkeling in Catalina and the little yellow cars we rented to drive around San Diego. Sadly, I don't have any pics from the honeymoon because all I had on me was a disposable camera and I dropped off the film at walmart post honeymoon and forgot for about 6 months..and apparently they don't keep film around that long...oopsie...
Following the honeymoon we moved into my mom's house and resumed life as marrieds. And it has been SO MUCH FUN!!! Not always easy and certainly not stress free but all in all great and wonderful to have each other around to lean on and laugh with. Here are a few more picture highlights:
Pretty much the first thing we did when we got home was adopt a cat from the Humane Society. it was kind of a liberating "we're married so we can do what we want now" experience. Cory wanted to name our first child Aloishous.....I let him name our cat that instead..Aloishous Bonaparte III to be exact. Ever since she pretty much thinks she's taken over our house. She likes to torment us....and we do it right back!!!
Fast forward to December--we had a Christmas party with our single friends-- it's great to be able to stay in touch even though we're old and boring now :)
We spent Christmas with Cory's family in Spokane (how cute--Cory and his sister Lindsay and the rockin hat I bought him...that he lost....sad day!!!)
Christmas day we flew back to AZ-here we are with my mom's fiance Larry
And then in January one of my best friends ever Lisa got married--but first we threw her a shower...
and of course the festivities included dressing becca up in a toilet paper wedding gown
The night before bachelorette party-we went to see the showstoppers at Casino Arizona
And of course the wedding!! Lisa and Nick Fuller got married at the Mesa, Arizona temple and it was a perfect, wonderful day (and by the way the BEST example I've ever seen of someone altering a strapless dress to make it temple ready..good job Lisa!!!)!!
In March we took a road trip to Utah with our friends Todd and Emily to go to the wedding of Cory's old roommate Joel
outside the Mt. Timpanogos Temple
Joel and Becky Hemingway--SO CUTE!!!!
And then my brother Aaron moved it--here's Aaron and Cory bonding
We adopted Aaron's cat Misty as well--she's sweet but occasionally likes to vomit on things which is NOT so fun
And then my Dad's cat Gato (that's right, Spanish for "cat") moved in too...she's a little on the large side but we love her anyway. In case you were counting, that's right, now we have THREE cats--we are officialy weird cat people...
On April 20th my mom and Larry got married---YAY FOR LARRY AND MOM!!!
After the wedding we went to a Tepanyaki place and they made a heart out of rice for us...I WISH I HAD THAT AT MY WEDDING!!!
and two law school finals later that catches us up to now--thanks for playin!!
