We had a low key christmas at home and it was actually pretty great. Christmas eve we went to a little party and Harrison got to play with one of his bffs jonah. Then Christmas morning it was presents, breakfast, and enjoying 11 am church (I miss those days-we now meet at 8:30--EEEKKK). We watched Harrison's new movie in the afternoon and I made delicious manicotti for dinner, one of my favorite recipes. This was the first year Harrison really "got" the whole Christmas, Santa, presents, etc. thing. It was fun because everything was so new and exciting but he's still young enough that he's not demanding an ipad or video games or whatever else that will cost us a million dollars in a few years....Carter enjoyed her first Christmas too---Santa brought her a playmat that was quickly far surpassed by the one I got on Freecycle about a week later. Gotta Love free stuff!
YUM--CANDY from my Great Aunt Kim! (and notice the fabulous christmas jammies complete with slippers! Thanks Target Black Friday sale!)
Someone woke up! (crazy how she's so much bigger already!!)
Santa Brought me a Tent just like I asked!!
Musical Instruments!!!!
Carter Started out the Morning Dozing a bit
I think Cars 2 is in there. His other big present that you don't see is a train table I scored at a yard sale--it's been lots of fun already!!!
And not on christmas--but here is Harrison stuffing woody and various other friends into a big jar..of course.
(and I apologize for the odd punctuation and capitalization in this post...It's been a really long and "not awesome" day...)
