#2 Assateague and Ocean City

The week after we hit up the Delaware beaches we ventured out again (so great to have like several beaches within a few hours of us) to try our hand at camping on Assateague island of the MD eastern shore.  The campsite was right off the beautiful beach and they had bathrooms, a fun playground and of course a few wild horses. We had some hiccups (cory couldn't get a fire started....a bit of a storm) but all in all it was a good night. Carter and Harrison actually slept very well--Cory and I realized we will never again camp without some type of air mattress or sleeping pad...) The next day we stopped by the boardwalk at ocean city to walk around and spend more time in the sand before heading home.

Going over the BIG BRIDGE again!!!
 YAY TENT!!!!

I was stressed out about the fact that our pack and play wouldn't fit in the tent. Solution--pea pod baby sleeping apparatus. You zip it in, she can't get out, she even gets an air mattress :)
what daddy, no tin foil dinners???

 The storm rolling in

Harrison is blurry but the clouds are awesome

Morning beach walk ...kermie came too ...

Mommy, Carter, Kermie, and a new shell collection
As soon as we got to Ocean City we invested in a family set of cheesy sunglasses

 BLISS!!!
 From the fishing pier

Harrison LOVED watching them "test" the rides before the park opened (shielding his ears from the noise)

We got cotton candy (for Harrison) and carmel corn (for mommy) on the way out. He insisted on holding it and then was out cold.
