A Dance Sequence

I found these pictures that Harrison took of Carter when I wasn't looking. Man my kids are hilarious. This girl LOVES to dance. She was super excited about the prospect of taking a dance class until I signed her up for this 4 week one over the summer. Now she INSISTS she will NOT be going to DANCE CLASSES ever.  She only wants to dance at home. She only wants to dance with ME. and SHE KNOWS HOW TO DANCE ANYWAY.  Dance classes and other kids are SO SCARY!!!!!

Can't wait til July!!!!

Oh yeah. And I promise her hair does get brushed. Once in awhile anyway. It does require bribery via candy, however. Messy hair means mommy is trying to protect her teeth.

Girl Time

At the end of April I met up with four of my favorite former BYU roomies for Women's Conference in Provo. It had been around ten years (WOW--old much???) since all of us were together. It was amazing to reconnect, get spiritually fed, get physically fed (A LOT), and stay up late gabbing like the old days.  Oh yeah and three of them are pregnant with their FIFTH baby. Cory's one condition for watching the kids for two days was that I NOT come home wanting more babies :)

Kelli, me, Sheila, Kari, and Heidi..LOVE THESE LADIES SO MUCH!!!! They are truly amazing. And hilarious.

Trip the the Tulip Festival

We went on the very first day because I was super bummed to have missed this festival last year. We were able to see GORGEOUS tulips and happily complete the scavenger hunt that they had for kids. Plus bounce houses and kite making is always a good time.  I love Thanksgiving Point. We're so lucky to have so many fun activities for kids nearby.  Plus now that the weather is nice there is even more to do. Score one Utah.

 Flying her homemade kite. Yesterday she realized I had thrown it away and was devastated. DEVASTATED. we promptly made another one out of tissue paper and straws. PHEW.
