Goodbye virginia! Hello, Utah!

Well. we're here in Utah . The day we left was nuts, the drive was LONG, and the kids were amazingly well behaved. I bought some little presents to open each day before we started driving which went over very well. ( favorites were a drawing pad and silly putty ). Our nemo read along cd was listened to a lot as well as Sandra boynton's frog trouble (which is adorable ). Charlottes web put the kids to sleep :) We loved visiting the Merrell's, the Hobbs ', and uncle Aaron along the way. Plus the hotel grandma scored for us in Omaha was pretty great too . We arrived in Utah to sunny weather and then this morning it snowed for like four hours straight. Now , of course , it's sunny again. I love love our new house in daybreak . The neighbors are super friendly , trick or treating was ridiculous, and the playground across the street has been great . I've found a preschool for Harrison that seems to be a clone of our old one which he should start m-th sometime this week . I'm hopeful the transition will be easy . Yesterday Cory and I spent all day buying lots of furniture (alone !!! With grandparents watching the kiddos !!!and spending money is so stressful !!!!) and now are spending the afternoon ( ok I'm not ) putting it together.

The only one with the raw deal in this move has been my sweet carter who's had a fever and has basically not slept since we got here (oh wait that's bad for us too ) and urgent care this morning confirmed an ear infection. ( her first ! Thanks Utah ! ) although the urgent care was ridiculously easy and fast. Utahans love their convenience. And food . So far so good.

Spider-Man- ready to trick or treat

Poor sicky pants. Whose lame mommy misplaced half of her costume....

We've had lots of baths in mommy and daddy's big tub. Cups are way better than tub toys, right???

Home. As of nov 18th when we close. (We are renting from the old owners since we couldn't close on time ). Better be home for awhile. So done with moving.

Before we left va, Harrison's sweet preschool class made him a book with pictures from each kid . One of his favorite friends Ida also made him a cute card and gave him a goodbye present . We left behind so many wonderful friends! (Definitely cried at school more than once that last week as well as when I told Harrison's wonderful sunbeam teacher we were leaving) Bittersweet,  but I'm excited to see what's in store for us next!!

Cute book from mrs mclains m-f pre k

" I miss you " from Ida. And they are both crying :(

Sweet friends on the last day of school. Vilem, Lexi, lexis sister Jillian, Ida , and Harrison.
