We finally broke down and got Harrison in a toddler bed last week. I saw one on freecycle and figured it was time. he LOVES his new bed (jumping on it, off it, throwing his animals and blankets, etc...sometimes sleeping...) and so far has NOT gotten up in the middle of hte night to come visit mommy and daddy KNOCK ON WOOD (not that he doesn't wake up plenty of times to ask for milk, complain that he lost his binky, or beg us to put him in "new jammies" but that's another story...)
Next up, potty training!! I've put next Saturday on my calendar to give this a try, so we'll see how that pans out... after all, don't want to have to deal with two little monkeys in cribs OR diapers come October :)

You are so tricky! Announcing another baby at the end of the post! CONGRATULATIONS! So excited for you! I'm going to be in DC for a day or two this summer and I MUST SEE YOU! SEriously, it has been WAY TOO LONG!

hahahahahaha we're excited!!! And YES BETSEY--WE MUST SEE YOU TOO!! (you know, and meet your kids!!!).... we will be in Utah/on a cruise for about a week at the end of June but other than that we'll be here! And Katie, don't you have a baby now or soon?? If so congratulations to you!!!
YAY it's finally out!! I'm so happy Amber!! Jen Weller is having a babe then too!! YAY FOR BABIES!! Harrison looks so cute in his bed, that's what my boys' beds look like too, lots of stuffed animals!! SO FUN!
And that is the book I did with my kids for potty training. I can't say it was totally "A" day, but def. got them out of diapers and into undies that day. Good luck, I can just picture the potty party and wish we could be there with Harrison to celebrate!! Good luck and congrats on everything!

YAY!! I laughed at how you made the announcement. You are so sneaky. :) He looks so excited with his big bed and here is a tip if he starts trying to leave his room at nap or bedtime. Put a childproof handle on the inside of his door. We have to for Rebekah. :) Mwahahahaha.. You'll do great with the potty training and we can't WAIT to celebrate with you!
